Ms. Palmer is the Gallery Director and Owner of Akwaaba Gallery in Newark, NJ
She is the developer and owner of several mixed-use properties along the South Orange Avenue corridor (West Ward) in Newark, one of which houses her gallery. Akwaaba Gallery is a cornerstone of Newark’s arts and cultural community, having opened in 2018.
Ms. Palmer is mission-focused on arts and culture as the primary anchor for her community. “All I see is the potential of my city.”
Objective:
Developing properties incrementally along the South Orange corridor in Newark in partnership with an equity investor who is aligned with her community-enriching mission to integrate arts and culture with traditional real estate development.
